White Wolf Studio
Katherine and Tony are long-time friends, with a long-held respect for each other’s work. In 2021, they became partners in life – and then in business, with the creation of White Wolf Studio.
For Katherine and Tony, photography has always been more than a profession. It’s who they are. With a relaxed, intimate, and timeless style, they create open-hearted connections with the people they photograph. Combining traditional finesse with a contemporary edge. Creating honest and authentic legacy pieces. And bringing you back to a time, place, and feeling, for years to come.
Small moments. Big feelings.
Katherine Williams
Born and bred in Canterbury, Katherine is a country girl at heart.
After studying in Christchurch, she embarked on a successful international photography career – creating connections across as many as 80 countries in a decade. Returning to New Zealand, Katherine co-founded the renowned Christchurch company, Tandem Photography. Between 2007 and 2024, her work has been highly awarded and recognised throughout the industry, both locally and internationally.
Twice named New Zealand Photographer of the Year, Katherine has an innate ability to capture the human spirit thoughtfully and faithfully on camera. She has always connected deeply with people through her photography, and she’s still doing so today. Both with White Wolf Studio, and with her latest personal project – a photographic series of centenarians from around the world.
